Pay is an airline number, not ours

What you earn later depends on the licence you hold, the type you fly, the airline that hires you, and when you upgrade to command. Aerowis does not publish a payslip. We will not invent one here.

What actually moves the number

Four facts on the file. None of them is a rupee range. Bands change by airline, bond, hours and allowances — ask a carrier, not a ground-school page.

Licence

A CPL is the professional path. A PPL is private flying. ATPL sits later. The licence is not a salary band.

Type rating

A320 or B737 through training partners after CPL, if an airline asks. Some hire first and type-rate later.

The airline

Each carrier sets its own scale, sector pay and layover allowances. We do not name a partner airline or a published band.

Command, much later

Upgrade to captain is seniority, hours on type and the airline’s own rules. It is not a Calicut promise.

What this page will not do

We will not print cadet stipends, first-officer bands or captain crores. Training cost also varies by licence, country and hours — that conversation is with a career advisor.

Eligibility, hours, cost and what a CPL actually is. Fees stay off the page.

To enroll in the CPL program, candidates must have completed higher secondary education with Physics, Mathematics, and English. They must also be at least 17 years old and possess a valid DGCA Class 2 Medical certificate.

The duration varies based on the program. The CPL program typically takes 18-24 months, including ground school and a minimum of 200 flight hours required for DGCA license conversion.
