Who are the instructors at Aerowis?

Aerowis has eight captains on its faculty, including Capt. Vyshak Ashok, Capt. Kasim KP, Capt. Naseef Anwar K.P and Capt. Sharuniha R. Most trained in South Africa and hold both SACAA and DGCA licences. Vyshak trained in Florida and holds FAA and DGCA licences. Each teaches the papers they have sat themselves.

What qualifications do Aerowis ground instructors have?

Every instructor holds a DGCA licence, and most also hold a South African SACAA licence from their flight training. Several are type rated on the Airbus A320, and several have more than two years of ground-teaching experience. Each profile lists the captain's training background and licences, so you can check before you enrol.

Which subjects does each Aerowis instructor teach?

Each instructor teaches the subjects they specialise in, so you learn each paper from someone who knows it well. Meteorology: Vyshak, Kasim, Naseef, Danish. Air Navigation: Kasim, Shabab, Danish, Sharuniha. Air Regulations: Vyshak, Kasim, Naseef, Shabab, Fasil. Sabith covers general, radio and instrument navigation. Technical General and RTR are shared across the team.

Why does it help to learn from pilots who have flown?

Pilots who have sat the papers can explain why a rule or calculation matters, not just how to answer it. Students hear real examples from flight operations, which makes Navigation, Meteorology and Technical General easier to remember. That helps in exams and again when flying training begins.

Who can help if I struggle with navigation maths?

Capt. Sabith Rahman helps students who fear aviation maths by breaking calculations into simple steps. He focuses on general, radio and instrument navigation, and Capt. Sharuniha R teaches Air Navigation with an interactive style. Tell the advisory desk where you struggle and they can match you to the right class.
