For a CPL holder, airline selection is an important step towards an airline cockpit. Airlines may use multiple assessment stages to evaluate a candidate's knowledge, aptitude, communication, personality and professional suitability.
The selection process varies between airlines and recruitment cycles, but may include written examinations, aptitude assessments, group discussions and personal interviews.
Aerowis prepares CPL holders for these stages through structured practice, realistic mock assessments and individual feedback.

Why Aerowis
01
Classes, practice sessions and advisor support are coordinated from our Calicut campus, so you spend your time learning instead of chasing separate training providers.
02
Vivas, group discussions and presentations build the confidence and communication airline interviews ask for, so you are well prepared long before selection day arrives.
03
Aerowis maps out what comes next: partner flight schools in India and abroad, then dedicated airline preparation once you hold your Commercial Pilot Licence.
04
Get honest guidance on eligibility, timelines and costs before you pay anything, so you can decide with the full picture and no surprises later.
It is for CPL holders preparing for airline selection and recruitment assessments. If you are aiming for an airline cadet programme instead, Aerowis runs a separate Cadet Pilot Preparation course. If you are unsure which one fits, ask the advisory desk.
It covers four stages: the written exam, aptitude tests, group discussion and personal interview. Selection processes vary between airlines and recruitment cycles, so not every airline uses every stage. Check each airline's current requirements and ask the advisory desk which stages to prioritise.
It focuses on strengthening your aviation knowledge, technical understanding and subject knowledge through focused practice and airline-specific preparation. Ask the advisory desk how topics and practice papers are scheduled for your batch before you enrol.
Preparation covers cognitive, numerical, logical, verbal and spatial assessments, including ADAPT, COMPASS and similar systems. The test an airline uses can vary, so confirm the format with the airline you are applying to and share it with the advisory desk.
Practice focuses on communication, active listening, teamwork and structured participation in a professional group setting. You practise in realistic mock sessions and receive feedback on how you contribute, so you know what to improve before the real selection day.
It prepares you for personal, HR and technical questions, with a focus on communication, personality, aviation knowledge and professional presentation. Mock practice and individual feedback help you notice weak areas before an airline interview.
Yes. The preparation is built around structured practice, realistic mock assessments and individual feedback. The number of mock sessions and the schedule are not published on the course page, so ask the advisory desk for these details before you enrol.
No. Airlines make their own selection decisions, and their processes and recruitment cycles differ. Preparation helps you practise and improve your performance, but no academy can honestly promise you a seat. Treat it as readiness for the assessment, not a job offer.
The course is designed for CPL holders. If you are still completing training, ask the advisory desk about timing. An Indian DGCA licence is required to pursue airline flying in India, so if your CPL is foreign, ask about DGCA licence conversion.
Fees and schedule details are not listed on the course page. Call or WhatsApp +91 8594 000 730 (Monday to Saturday, 9:30 am to 5:30 pm) or email info@aerowis.com, and ask for the schedule, the number of mock assessments and a written fee breakup.
Strengthen your knowledge, practise the assessment process and refine your performance before the actual airline selection.
